In order to optimize the chances for success, it takes the dedication of a team of experts. The Stroke Center of Excellence is guided by a Medical Director who provides clinical leadership for the department. Beneath the Medical Director, you or your family member will be cared for by a team that specializes in every aspect of stroke rehabilitation. We have assembled this team to provide the resources so that you can be you again.
Medical Director
Trevor Paris, M.D., the Medical Director for the Stroke Center of Excellence, is board certified by both the American Board of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and the American Board of Independent Medical Examiners. He received his graduate education from the Medical University of South Carolina and spent his internship in the field of internal medicine at Loma Linda University Medical Center, located in southern California. While there, he went on to complete his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation.
Program Director
Dru Lovecky, the Program Director for the Stroke Center of Excellence, joined Brooks in 2008. She brings extensive training and expertise to the program. Lovecky works closely with Dr. Paris.
